Mr. Ayaz Ahmad, Lecturer Department of English AWKUM, defended his PhD English Dissertation successfully at University of Peshawar on November 17, 2017 under the supervision of Prof Dr. Sarfaraz Khan.

Divisional Trials Results of National Youth Carnival-2017

The office of University Advancement Cell & Career Development Center congratulates all the Divisional Trials successful students for Provincial Competitions of National Youth Carnival-2017, a round nation youth competition project of Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The results of Divisional Trials of National Youth Carnival-2017 are announced in which students of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan from different departments and colleges participated on 15 Nov-2017 at Peshawar Sports Complex Peshawar. In the said divisional trials, students of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan efficiently participated in more than 25 categories and have been placed successful in more than 13 categories out of 25, other than the remaining categories results.

In addition to that, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan is among the top ranked universities of the said competitions having maximum number of qualified categories for the upcoming Provincial Competitions.

All the announced result sheets are attached and qualified students are informed to prepare and get ready for their upcoming participation in Provincial competitions.

We wish them all the best for National Level Performance.

The QEC AWKUM reviewed Course & Student Files Faculty of Arts & Humanities

The QEC AWKUM reviewed Course & Student Files Faculty of Arts & Humanities in Garden Campus on November 16-17, 2017 during which the team met with Prof. Dr. Niaz Muhammad (Dean) and briefed him about the process. The team also held meetings with heads of concerned departments and shared the purpose of the visit. The team went through the course files of all the faculty members.  A comprehensive feedback was provided on each file for further improvement.  In the exit meeting, the QEC team appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Niaz Muhammad (Dean & Chairperson of Islamic Studies), Dr. Liaqat Iqbal (Chairman, Department of English), Dr. Mohammad Sohail (Chairperson, Department of Pashto) and Mr. Fazli Sattar Durrani (Principal, PCA) for their strong support in facilitating the visit. 

The quality culture is flourishing under the dynamic & visionary leadership of the worthy vice chancellor. As per directives of the worthy Vice Chancellor, the QEC will visit all the faculties accordingly. The QEC will submit a comprehensive report of the all the visits to the Competent Authority.
