Dr. Abdur Rauf Donated Wireless Weather Station to Department of Botany, AWKUM
Dr Abdur Rauf (PhD-UK), Lecturer in
Department of Botany, donated a Wireless Weather Station to the Department of
Botany, which he brought from UK. The Weather Station was handed over to Prof. Dr
Ikramullah Khan, Chairman, Department of Botany, Abdul Wali Khan University
Mardan.
Prof. Dr. Ikramullah Khan thanked
Dr. Abdur Rauf and appreciated his dedication and sincerity with the
profession. He said that the Wireless Weather Station is very important
equipment and could be used in different ecological experiments including
climate change. He said that it will be installed in the Botanical Garden,
which will be available for all M.Sc., M.Phil. and PhD students of this
department.

Processing and Fabrication of Piezoelectric Material’s Nanogenerators for
Energy Scavenging Applications and Portable Electronics: Renewable Energy
Sources.” by Dr. Khizar Hayat, PI and Dr. Said Karim Shah, Co-PI of the
Department of Physics, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Eligibility
Criteria
· A
graduate qualification in a field, relevant to the area of investigation i.e.,
BS or MS in Physics
· Having
some research experience in the relevant field.
· Having
good report writing and presentation skills.
· Having
good analytical and computer skills.
· Having
the ability to work independently to a tight schedule.

with educational documents to the office of PI/Co-PI, Department of Physics,
AWKUM before and on 10/10/2017 not later than 12:00 NOON.
However, only short listed candidates will be contacted for interview.
The interview is scheduled to be held on 12/10/2017 at 11:00 AM in
the office of Chairman, Department of Physics, AWKUM.

All students who
are seeking admission in the MS Economics program at the Department of
Economics, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan are informed that their admission
test will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11 AM sharp at the garden
campus, Department of Economics, room 201. It is further added that a single
test will be offered, covering different areas of Economics.
