IBL, AWKUM Signed MoU with Change Mechanics Islamabad



The Institute of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL) Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) signed MoU with Change Mechanics Islamabad on April 10, 2017 at Garden Campus AWKUM.

The MoU was signed by Dean Faculty of Business & Economics, Prof. Dr. Qadar Bakhsh Baloch on behalf of IBL AWKUM while on behalf of Change Mechanics; it was signed by Sayyed Ahmad Masud (CEO, Change Mechanics Islamabad)

The MoU will allow both the organizations to promote further cooperation and understandings. This agreement will strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by creating awareness and dissemination of business/ entrepreneurship knowledge amongst the students of AWKUM specifically female students through capacity building and sustainable solutions. Both parties will aim to act as a one stop source to make the change work by extending support towards startups by imparting knowledge, information and create strategic alliances with universities and Industries. Additionally, both parties will jointly work together to find ways and means to develop and strengthen the entrepreneurship environment in KPK.




Research Productivity Award (2016-2017)



Pakistan Council for Science and Technology, Islamabad has selected four scientists for Research Productivity Award (2016-2017) from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan

Dr. Saeed Islam, Professor, Department of Mathematics.
Dr. Raz Muhammad, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics.
Dr. Maqsood Hayat, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science.
Dr. Abdul Wadood, Assistant Professor, Department of Bio-chemistry.

One day workshop on "Self-Assessment Report Writing" Organized by QEC, AWKUM




One day workshop on "Self-Assessment Report Writing" was organized by Quality Enhancement Cell AWKUM on April 07, 2017 at Garden Campus, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. PT members from the targeted programs attended the workshop.

The workshop started with recitation from the Holy Quran. Deputy Director QEC, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan briefed the session regarding importance of the Self-Assessment Process. Miss Asia Bukhari (Deputy Director QEC, Khyber Medical University Peshawar) conducted the workshop. The PT members were given concrete information regarding self-assessment process.

At the concluding ceremony, Mr. Shiraz Paracha (Director QEC) acknowledged the efforts of the resource person. He enlightened the importance of Self-Assessment process at the department and University level. He further mentioned that PT members should extend their role for bringing quality in the University.
