PhD Scholar, Mr. Muhammad Zubair, Successfully Defended his PhD Thesis

PhD Scholar of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Mr.Muhammad Zubair  successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled, ‘' Adalati Faskh Nikah ke Asbab Qanooni asarat awr Mumkina Tahaffuzat ka Aily Qawaneen ke Tanazur  mein Sharie Jaiza.’’

The topic is Socio-religious and covers both the fields of Islamic Sharia and the existing Family Laws. In his research the scholar has analyzed both the Laws with special reference to dissolution of marriage, its grounds, legal impacts, and the observations exist on the court decisions. His thesis was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Naeem, HEC approved supervisor and Assistant Prof. of Sharia  at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. The external examiner was Prof. Dr. Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor, Ex. Chairman Deptt. of Seerat University of Peshawar. His thesis was evaluated by two well-known Foreign  Subject Experts, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim  Muhammad Abdul Rahim, University of Cairo Egypt, and Prof Dr.Israr Ahmad Khan from Malaysia.

During his research, the scholar has published more than a dozen research papers in various national level recognized journals.

His PhD Open Public Defense was conducted on May 24, 2017 at Department of Islamic Studies PCA Block Garden Campus AWKUM. All the Faculty members, the research scholars and the administrative staff attended on the occasion. After the successful defense of his thesis the Scholar, Mr. Muhammad Zubair was recommended for award of PhD degree in the field of Islamic Studies.
