KPOGCL and Department of Geology, AWKUM Agreed to Begin Collaboration in Research & Development Activities

"KPOGCL (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited) and Department of Geology, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan agreed to begin collaboration in Research & Development activities. A formal meeting was arranged on 24-07-2017 with CEO-KPOGCL Mr. Raziuddin Razi and DGM (Deputy General Manager) Mr. Amjad Ali and attend by Prof. Dr Aurangzeb Khan, Dean Faculty of Physical and Numerical Science, AWKUM , Focal-Person, Department of Geology, AWKUM Prof. Dr. Saeed Ul Islam, Lecturer Muhammad Yaseen & Emad Ullah with the supporting staff in Head office , KPOGCL Peshawar.

KPOGCL and Department of Geology, AWKUM share common interests in R & D related activities in field of Geology and Geo-physics. The MOU proposal is initiated which will be  based on technical cooperation and is related to Geological activities .The both parties views the MOU agenda and In addition to these two fields of collaboration, KPOGCL will collaborate in a broad range of research in the field of Petroleum and Earth-science. Thus, in the future, KPOGCL and AWKUM plan to deepen their research cooperation effectively by exchanging information and researchers, conducting joint research and holding study meetings, while searching for other common themes on which both can collaborate, based on the conclusion of the memorandum of understanding on research cooperation"
