Department of Microbiology Organized Symposium on Grant Proposal Writing

The Department of Microbiology organized "1st Graduate Students Symposium on Grant Proposal Writing".  All M. Phil students of the department presented posters on grant proposals on diverse research topics in the discipline of microbiology. Exciting part of the event was interactive sessions between the faculty of microbiology, poster presenters and graduate and undergraduate students from the department of microbiology and neibouring departments. It was not only training for the participants but also a source of inspiration for all other graduate students of the university. Later on, the Chairman of the Department Dr. Hazir Rahman appreciated the principal organiser of the symposium Dr Tahir Hussain for holding such a wonderful event in limited resources, and all the participants for their efforts and contribution in making the event a success. At the end, Dr. Hazir Rahman awarded “Certificate of Appreciation” to M. Phil student Ms. Aneela Akram for best poster presentation.
