Applications are invited from the suitable candidates for the following position in the HEC funded research project (No. 6817/KPK/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2015) entitled “Host-induced gene silencing in sugarcane stem borer (Chilo infuscatellus Snellen)- a new and effective strategy for enhanced insect pest resistance”

Research Assistant (One Post)

Contract Duration: 1 year [extendable up to three (03) years] Qualification: M.Phil Biotechnology or relevant field ·   The student must be registered as PhD scholar in the Department of Biotechnology, AWKUM. Experience:  Candidate having good hand on experience and research publication record in Biotechnology will be preferred. Responsibilities:  The candidate will be responsible for sample collection, experimental work of the project, data compilation and analysis, writing of papers, or any relevant task.

Project Information: The project duration is 36 months. The above position is purely on temporary basis.
