1st Board of Studies Meeting of the Department of Microbiology

The 1st meeting of Board of Studies, Department of Microbiology was held on March 22, 2017 at Central Library, Abdu Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM). Dr. Hazir Rahman, Chairman, Department  of  Microbiology  chaired  the  meeting.  The  meeting  was  attended  by  Prof.  Dr. Ghausia Lutfullah, COBAM, Peshawar, Dr. Isfahan Tauseef, Department of Microbiology, Hazara  University,  Dr.  Haji  Khan,  CBM,  University  of  Swat,  Dr.  Muhammad  Qasim, Department of Microbiology, Kohat University of Science and Technology, Dr. Zia ur Rahman, Dr. Muhsin Jamal, Dr. Tahir Hussain and Dr. Muhammad Rafiq, Department of Microbiology, AWKUM.

The meeting was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The chair welcomed the participants of the 1st meeting of Board of Studies and briefed them about the academic activities going on at the department. He emphasized that the role of the members will be useful and constructive for the development of the department and its academic programs. Thereafter, the regular agenda was presented before the Board for item-wise discussion. Beside other recommendations,  the  board  also  unanimously  approved  M.Phil  and  PhD  programs  in Microbiology. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
