Two Day Workshop on “How To Develop Business Ideas And Business Models”

The Business Incubation Center Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) in collaboration with ORIC AWKUM and Department of Management Sciences organized a two days workshop on “How to develop business ideas and business models” in the Department of Management Sciences Hall, on November 29-30, 2016.

 Students and faculty from various departments participated in the event. The main purpose of the event was to create awareness among students and faculty regarding entrepreneurship.  The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ansir Rajput from Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad.

Addressing to the concluding ceremony, the Chief Guest Professor Dr. Qadar Baloch (Department of Management Sciences) appreciated the efforts of Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel (Director Business Incubation Center AWKUM), Deputy Director Dr. Fahad Sultan and Coordinator Mr. Shah Hussain Awan  for organizing a successful two days event. He also appreciated the enthusiasm of all participant teams and their cooperation.  He advised students and faculty to develop their entrepreneurial mindset. He promised his full support to cooperate with students and faculty regarding entrepreneurship.  In the end, cash prizes and certificates were distributed among best participants. The first prize was grabbed by team of Pukhtankhwa College of Arts (PCA) AWKUM; the second prize was secured by Department of Management Sciences while third prize was won by the Department of English. Deputy Director ORIC Mr. Tariq Mehmood was also present on the occasion.
