Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Provost, AWKUM, Delivered a Talk at Department of Physics

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Provost and Chairman Department of Environmental Sciences, delivered a talk on Our Home: Now and Then ... a Challenge for Resilience and Sustainable Development in the Department of Physics, AWKUM. In his talk, he spoke about the importance of forest and water and the overall environmental issues and challenges in the globe and Pakistan. The seminar was attended by faculty members of multidisciplinary fields, graduate scholars and under graduate students. After the talk, an interactive session of the speaker with the students was conducted. Finally, Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Khan, Chairman Department of Physics and Dean Faculty of Physical and Numerical Sciences, AWKUM, launched a green program called “Donate a Tree”. He donated 80 Trees to the Garden Campus under the green program and encouraged all the participants to contribute to it.
