Two Days Capacity Building Training on Strategic Vision

The Department of Sociology organized a two days capacity building training on strategic vision in collaboration with Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORICs) Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) at Main Campus. The training was delivered by Dr. Abdullah (Master Trainer)/Assistant Professor University of Swat Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. In start of the training it was highlighted that identifying a clear and meaningful vision is critical towards personal and organizational success and excellence. A life without a clear vision is a life without a direction, a life full of confusions and contradictions. This training was designed to give the participants the fundamental paradigms, tools and the language to address this complex yet important subject. This training not only empowered the participants to envision but also set the ground for making their vision a reality both on a personal and organizational level. In training both the faculty and students of this department actively participated and developed their individual and organizational framework based on strategic vision. In his closing remarks Dr. Syed Rashid Ali Chairperson of this department shared his views that we need to spread the knowledge learned in this training to our other colleagues as well as he announced that organizers will now conduct the same training with the rest of students in this department in coming days.  At the end certificate distribution ceremony was held and certificates were distributed among the participants, organizers and a shield was presented to master trainer.
