The
Institute of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL) Abdul Wali Khan University
Mardan (AWKUM) signed MoU with Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) on August 01, 2017
at Garden Campus AWKUM.
The
MoU was signed by Dean Faculty of Business & Economics, Prof. Dr. Qadar
Bakhsh Baloch on behalf of IBL AWKUM while on behalf of Pakistan Red Crescent;
it was signed by M. Wasif Jan (Deputy Secretary operations KP).
The
MoU allows both the organizations to promote further cooperation and
understandings in the seven areas i.e. Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality,
Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality. PRC will establish youth club at AWKUM for
conducting youth related programs such as YABC & youth training programs.
The core activities of the youth club includes healthy & safe living in the
community, prepare & respond to any emergency or disaster, cleanliness
drive to reduce spread of diseases, Go-Green project, promoting culture of
peace, tolerance and non-violence through Community Watch.
