The
Higher Education Commission (HEC) Review Committee for MS/MPhil/PhD Programs
composed of various academicians from across the country including HEC
officials visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on July 27-28, 2017.
Director QEC AWKUM delivered brief presentation on the MS/MPhil/PhD Programs
being conducted at AWKUM.
The
HEC Review Committee received the relevant documents, bodies meetings,
student/faculty files and scheme of studies of MS/MPhil/PhD Programs being conducted
at AWKUM. The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) AWKUM was the main facilitator
from AWKUM side that coordinated between all the relevant departments and
Review Committee.
The
Committee appreciated some of the departments on their excellent documentation
such as Institute of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL), Economics and
Computer Sciences. The Committee guided various departments on maintaining the
relevant documents including student/faculty files.
In
their Exit meeting, Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khan Khalil, Dean Faculty
of Business & Economics, Dean Faculty of Chemical & Life Sciences and
Dean Faculty of Social Sciences appreciated their keen interest and dedication
in improving the existing standards of AWKUM. The HEC Review Committee strongly
appreciated the efforts of QEC and requested the honourable Vice Chancellor to
empower and strengthen the QEC.
